Tällä videolla näytän 7 eri tapaa tehdä venäläisen piston yleisin versio eli 2+2+2. Osa näistä eri tavoista on esitetty suomalaisissa lehdissä tai kirjoissa ja osan ovat näyttäneet suomalaiset kintaantekijät.

On this video I show 7 different ways to do the most common version (UUOOUU/UUOOUUU) of the Russian Stitch. Term "Russian Stitch" is more like a family of stitches which covers several different stitches. Some of these different ways have been shown in Finnish handicraft magazines or books, and some have been shown by Finnish mitten makers.

Please do notice that the movements are slow on purpose, and that due to some difficulties combining suitable light and the position of the video camera, and that I wanted to see my hands both irl and on the small video screen, I had to keep my arms and hands in a bit akward and clumsy position, so the movements may not look "natural".
