the question also asked about people wanting to play for fun and not seriously. He is responding to that part.
If you're new to a game you have license to be crap at it. How can it work in any other way? When I buy a game, the first thing I do is play it, not scour the web for in-depth tutorials, guides and videos. People need to remember that it's just a bloody game. If you want to treat it so seriously then don't play with the general public, many of whom will not share your fanaticism.
Path of Exile has you hoarding TONNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS of items, you WILL want those extra tabs. The game is also good enough (for people looking for that kind of game) that they will sell tons of those tabs.

While I perfeclty agreed with the teamwork and fun conversation, I feel you could have used an easier analogy...despite totally understanding it. Like say, if you decide it's more fun to play baseball by only using a bat with one hand, it's not that....bad...but it's far less effective and your team is going to hate you.
Well the main problem with lol is how TB said in his LoL vid, There is not much communication in LoL besides pinging and yelling/ranting. Its incredibly hard for a newb to learn even the basics when no one tells you what you are supposed to do, and riot recommended build make it even worse. One has to either know someone who is at least a bit experienced or has to learn all the stuff from guides, videos or other means which are not in the game...
What TB said about ruining for others was perfect.
Wrong, but I'm not here to argue. I said what I know through experience & you said what you believe. I do see why you say the system is effective but you obviously haven't been burned enough to truly see where I'm coming from, so you need to play the game actively reaching for higher elo for another yr or so. It's not something I can prove to you as you will believe what you want, even if you do get burned which is horrible. Let us agree to disagree. Good day.
it is not horrible at matchmaking, your claim is groundless. The elo system is very effective
LoL is horrible at matchmaking, so I do believe you are mistaken.
This is especially a problem in LoL with the recommended builds, which are often just plain wrong. When as far as you can tell (and as far as the game is telling you) you are doing everything correctly, yet still you loose and people yell at you, it does not make people want to play more.
When autoplay is enabled, a suggested video will automatically play next.
