'Delicious Seoul Story' Cooking Contest entry by Kwi-Hae and Kasia
INGREDIENTS BEEF BROTH Brisket or other lean beef (500 g) Raddish (300 g) Onion (half of medium) 5 (cloves) Cold water (2 liters) ice cubes (app 30) dried kelp (1 piece app 15x15 cm)
NOODLES Korean style buckwheat noodle called Naeung Myun (1 package)
TOPPINGS eggs (2) Asian pear (1) Korean mustard or spicy yellow mustard (4 tsp) Mustard oil (2 tsp) Chilli pepper (1 piece)
NAENG MYUN KIMCHI Raddish (app 400 g) Cucumber (app 400 g) Korean chilli flakes (1 tbsp) Rice vinegar (4 tbsp) Coarse salt if possible (2 tbsp) Sugar (2 tbsp)
Kwi-Hae and Kasia met in New York, where they studied architecture together. This is where Kwi-Hae introduced Kasia to Korean food. Kasia really likes Korean food but has never prepared a Korean dish on her own. Until now! Kwi-Hae is Korean-American and now lives in Munich, Germany. Kasia is German and lives in Berlin, Germany. In this video Kwi-Hae and Kasia are cooking Mul Naeng Myun, a perfect dish for summer. Kwi-Hae is cooking in her kitchen in Munich and Kasia is following Kwi-Hae's instructions in Berlin.
