Buddy Cox said "That Jimi learned to play guitar so well was in Nashville in 1962-1963.I think the reason why Hendrix was better than his contemporaries in London is because Hendrix had fierce competition in Nashville. People like Clapton, Beck, Peter Green (Of Fleetwood Mac) and Jimmy Paige were the reigning Gods in the U.K. at the time with little or no competition.

I love Paul M.  But please.  Paul doing Jimi is like Jimi doing Paul.  Don't try either one by either one.

The Beatles had some very educated and sophisticated, white haired old fart directing and arranging them, unlike Hendrix who was going w/ the flow, natural. Wow! Raw JAMMIN' Unparalelled. That was & is & ever shall be the greatness of Hendrix.
