I finally joined the Kinect party last week. I'm hoping to use it for some installation ideas I have. I won't be doing any gaming as I don't have an Xbox, however I thought this was a nice quick test of its functionality!

I'm using:

Synapse (for skeletal tracking) - http://synapsekinect.tumblr.com/

MaxMSP (for crunching and translating) the tracking data - http://cycling74.com/

OSCulator (for creating a virtual HID controller device) - http://www.osculator.net/

Nestopia (for NES emulation) - http://www.bannister.org/

The soundtrack is performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

The GUI for my Max patcher uses an image by David Mcleod (@Mucx) - http://www.flickr.com/photos/mucx/
