Claudia Rosett, journalist-in-residence with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, head of its Investigative Reporting Project, and a columnist at PJ Media.com, speaks at the first annual Walter Duranty Award. It was held jointly by PJ Media.com and the New Criterion magazine on October 10th, 2012 in New York City. Rosett awards the top prize to Vogue magazine for their Evita Peron-like profile of Asma al-Assad of Syria, titled, "A Rose in the Desert."
