Just showing you the difference between a full metal jacket and hollow point bullets after they have been fired. The one on the left is a Remington 230gr .45 ACP full metal jacket and the one on the right is a 200gr jacketed hollow point that I hand-loaded.
The .45 ACP was fired from my FNP 45 Tactical while the .45 Colt was most likely fired from a Puma .454 lever action. We were shooting the Judge that day too but I'm pretty sure it came from the Puma. I loaded some semi-hot rounds specifically for the Puma, so I'm not sure whether the bullet came from a hot load or standard load. I wasn't trying to make each slug as similar as possible so that I could do a comparison video, it just so happened that these were the ones we found in the tree that we shot.
