Agreed with several posters here. David's part he played in KoRn made KoRn and blessings to Ray but Ray doesnt give the KoRn feel. If you look online, David did an interview where he shows exactly how and where KoRn's sound changed and if you go back n listen you'll see he is speaking truth. I am all for bands evolving and not to suit anyone but its pretty obvious they let rich producers do the decision making and it was supposed to be something else hehe - thats a nice way of putting it. Nevertheless - plenty can be learned from all this. Like Nirvana, Dave really showed me (especially when I first heard them as a kid) that technicality, while meaningful in a way, could never ever overpower sheer passion - songwriting and song 'performing' with feeling. Like Bruce lee said - Dont just think, FEEL!  Edit: And what Dave was talking about especially in the changing of KoRns music was that it became less 'alive' - couldnt get groovey and coulndt have weird time changes all throughout which is what KoRn built their sound on - most especially the vocals didnt work with the riffs anymore (as well as before) because instead of taking a few months on a track to work it out over n over until it became powerful, less time was spent - more time doing live shows :( - and to boot, Jon would do vocals separately after a song was finished being written instead of happening during the writing stage.  Divide n Conquer!

Insane drummer. However, Ray IN MY OPINION is better. Silveria stuck to his parts like Ray sticks to the parts HE wrote. He adds his own little twist to Silveria's songs because he didn't write them, but oh well. Great drummers, both of them.
