We completed the attached Spring through Fall section of the African Grey Aviary in April of 2009. This gives their aviary a total of 3,600 sq.ft. of natural environment. One month later, many of the birds have enjoyed their time exploring the new addition. This was White Beak and Lady Grey's first time gaining the courage to explore it. This was in the morning and I had my camera with me and was fortunate enough to be able to photograph them doing so. White Beak gets his name from half of his lower beak being white, very interesting. They are a bonded pair and lived together in a neglectful breeding situation prior to their non-breeding retirement here at the Sanctuary. They are becoming very well adjusted and happy!
