(Sunday, Taylor's POV)
The last few weeks of summer are for being at the beach, and nothing else. By this time of the year, vacationers are gone, and we celebrities are free to go to the beach without being swarmed by crazy fans. We practically live here now, and as soon as we all wake up, we're at the beach until it gets dark, and then we start up the grill and have a bonfire. The little kids have no idea that there is way more beach out there than they can imagine. They only know of our awesome secret spot.
Nick and Morgan are finally coming home today. They're going to meet us at the beach once they drop their suitcases and stuff off at their house. Now I'm just waiting really impatiently for Nick. I've been so bored lately.
"I think Tyler knows that Nick and Morgan are coming back today." Casey giggles, trying to keep a hold on Nick and Morgan's son. He's been unusually fussy and squirmy today, his eyes never leaving the entryway of the spot. As if he's waiting.
"He's way too smart for a baby." I say, handing everyone their lunches from the coolers.
"How has he been the past couple of weeks?" Kevin asks, sitting Holly in his lap and helping her eat.
"Cries." Allie and I say at the same time, everyone else laughing.
"Good luck with that later on." Brittney teases.
"Your sleep time cuts back by half." Casey adds. Joe keeps quiet, sitting with Lilly in his lap. He doesn't talk much about life with little kids, since he wasn't there for Samantha.
"Did I cry?" Samantha asks with a mouthful of food.
"Yes." Casey mumbles. Joe leans over and kisses her cheek. Smooth move.
"Tyler isn't that bad. If he cries, he calms down almost instantly. Allie defends Tyler, stroking his hair back.
"Well Nick and Morgan were testing your future parental skills by asking you to watch him." Kevin smirks, and I roll my eyes.
"Please. All little kids love me, right Sam?"
"No!" She giggles, Joe and Kevin cracking up.
"That's my girl." Joe beams, ruffling Samantha's hair. I hide a smile, looking around the beach to keep the harassment off of me. Two people suddenly appear at the entryway, walking hand in hand.
"They're here!" I yell, jumping up and running toward Nick and Morgan."
"Oh no!" Morgan squeals, stepping out of my path while I charge at Nick.
"Best friend, best friend!" I say jokingly, tackling Nick in the sand, both of us laughing.
"Get off of me!" He groans, hitting my back. I stand, helping him up.
"Well excuse me for being bored as hell the past couple of weeks." I fake pout, both of us walking up to the family. Morgan already has Tyler in her arms, hugging him tight.
"Let me hold him." Nick says excitedly, sitting next to them.
"I just got him." Morgan sighs happily, kissing Tyler's head. Nick and Morgan take turns hugging us all, reuniting with everyone. Everyone is back together again, it just proves how close we all are. The girls all gush over Italy, asking Morgan a million questions, while Joe, Kevin and I tease Nick for his reaction when he got to hold Tyler. He is completely wrapped around him.
"Leave me alone, I missed him." Nick says defensively, his eyes locked on Tyler.
"Whipped." I fake cough.
"Yep." Nick admits, Joe and Kevin giving him a look.
"You were never one for little kids." Kevin points out.
"You practically repel them." Joe teases.
"This is my son though. He is me."
"Dude if you keep his up, I don't think I can be friends with you anymore." I smirk, dodging his swings at my chest.
"Just wait, Taylor. You'll see how different it is with a kid." Nick says, Joe and Kevin nodding in agreement. I look to Allie. I feel different just being with her.
