A stunning late strike from James McFadden earned a 2-2 draw for Motherwell against St Mirren at Fir Park and ensured that the SPL title race would not be decided until after the league split. Michael Higdon had headed Stuart McCall's men ahead but a brilliant effort from Conor Newton and a close-range finish from Lewis Guy looked to be sending the trophy to Celtic Park, only for McFadden to save the day late-on for 'Well.
