In this video, Mahalo Windows expert Sean Hewitt explains different video sizes in Windows Movie Maker.

Save as a Movie

On the right side of the upper toolbar, click on the arrow next to the Save button. You can now export your video to different sizes depending on what you want to do with your movie. If you will be showing your movie on a large screen like a TV, you will probably want to use the HD settings. If you don't need a high quality screen resolution, consider using a smaller size as this reduces the size of the file. The smaller the file, the quicker it will upload and burn to DVD.
