Celebrate the artistry of Grammy Award-winning violinist Augustin Hadelich, the first-ever recipient of the Warner Music Prize, in this exclusive recital in the Greene Space at WQXR. At 7 pm on Wednesday, April 13 2016, Hadelich performed works by Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and Sarasate, accompanied by pianist Kuang-Hao Huang.

“The essence of Hadelich’s playing is beauty: reveling in the myriad ways of making a phrase come alive on the violin, delivering the musical message with no technical impediments whatsoever, and thereby revealing something from a plane beyond ours.” — Washington Post
