So When Is The Best Time To Talk About Retirement Planning? ๐Ÿค”

Many Advisors know HOW to get started to talk about Retirement Planning, but they DONโ€™T know WHEN is the right time to TALK about it.

In my opinion, there are TWO best time period to talk about Retirement Planning:

โœ… The first one is when there are BONUS SEASONS - When clients receive bonuses.

You see, many of our clients receive bonuses on a YEARLY basis. Thus, if we can approach them DURING the bonus season and REQUEST them to SAVE the bonus for Retirement Planning, chances are likely that they will save A PART of it. This is because when they receive bonus, they have to have the capital to save more.

โœ… The second one is GIFT GIVING SEASONS - During holidays where ELDERLY gives out gifts to the YOUNGER GENERATION. For example, Chinese New Year and Christmas.

During gift giving seasons, grandparents would usually give their grandkids some GIFTS or MONEY. This is also the BEST TIME to have a CONVERSATION with them on RETIREMENT. So now, the idea would be to POSITION Retirement as a GIFT to their grandkids.

If you have any other best time that you are aware of, donโ€™t feel shy, send me a MESSAGE on FACEBOOK and let me know. This way, the whole family can learn from your experiences too!

This is Dr Sanjay Tolani. Let's make Financial Planning easier and happier for everyone!
