Brother Europe had a new and more ink efficient printing technology, which used single ink tank refills. This meant more cost effective printing and slimmer, more stylish printers. Brother wanted to market their new technology using print and animation, so they issued a brief to a selection of digital agencies including Fluid Creativity.

After rubbing our chins for a short while we developed a concept and told Brother all about it -- the idea was to show 2 decorators painting a room, one with Brother's more efficient single tank refill printer, the other using the alternative multi-colour tank system.

Brother liked our ideas and commissioned us to put together the animation. We story boarded everything out, developed our characters, wrote the script and got to work piecing everything together. Once we'd finished the animation we employed professional actors to do the voice over to polish the final piece to the high standard we demand for our clients.

The final animation was used at CeBIT, the world's largest trade fair, showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments. The animation was so successful in communicating Brother's new idea that it was then used by Brother distributors all across Europe.
