So as I always do when I have a giant cast to work with, I bounced ideas around with my friends before I got to work. My friend RainbowDoubleDash was very insistent that when I got to this video I had to use Tom Hanks as himself. You see, it’s not unusual for celebrities to guest star in SNL sketches, but rarely would they play as themselves. We decided I had to keep that golden joke going and allow Tom to play himself once again! The juxtaposition from what I usually do really drives the humor home for me!

And of course, I’d be remiss if I didn’t note the returning Burt Reynolds! Burt was almost the main antagonist in these sketches instead of Sean Connery, being the returning contestant in the first four Jeopardy sketches, but unfortunately those are among the ones that I couldn’t get a hold of. Personally though, I like him wandering into the show a lot better than him being invited. It just adds that extra level of insanity to the game, that even the number of contestants has left Alex’s control. Comedy gold!

Also, guess when in this project I finally got some season nine clips to use!

“Look, there’s the Clue Box! Get it, get it… it’s a Detour! My Little Pony or Saturday Night Live!”

Daga Yemar is a small time pmv maker, and in this detour teams will have to deal with something that he doesn’t own.

In My Little Pony, teams will have to saddle their own pony and lead it through an obstacle course, without the small horse setting one wrong hoof out of the designated track. Once the local equestrian is satisfied, they will receive their next clue.

In Saturday Night Live, teams will have to memorize an entire three minute long sketch and them perform it in front of a crowded audience. If they manage not to flub any of their lines, the comedy master will give them their next clue.

“We’re going to do My Little Pony!”
