The clips show the time lapse response of two potted rose varieties (Lady and Nicola) to exposure to 1 ppm ethylene at 20C. It highlights the broad range in sensitivity of commercial potted rose plant varieties to this ethylene treatment... one variety suffers extensive leaf and flower drop while the other remains intact. We're hoping that this information will be useful to growers and wholesalers and particularly breeders of potted roses.
