In late June 2014, a Bureau of Land Management work crew constructed a new public use cabin in the White Mountains National Recreation Area. The Moose Creek Cabin replaces a cabin built near the same site in 1986. It is available to the public by reservation as part of a network of 11 cabins and more than 240 miles of groomed winter trails in the recreation area north of Fairbanks, Alaska.
