In July of 2015, The Atlantic ran a long piece called A World Without Work, and in August the chief financial officer for Citibank called for a Basic Income Guarantee. This wasn't being talked about last November, when we produced our video, and now is the time to get it circulating so it can add to everyone's understanding of a situation that cries to be dealt with. In the face of there not being enough jobs no matter what we do, a Basic Income Guarantee would give us a more compassionate playing field that would be a step towards a more caring world.
