About 30 Pittsburgh-based Microsoft employees rallied to the cause when Pittsburgh blogger Ginny Montanez started her "Make Room for Kids" project in conjunction with the Mario Lemieux Foundations Austins Playroom Project. The goal of the project was to outfit patient rooms on the transplant unit at Children's Hospital with Xboxes, video games, controllers, movies, laptops and more. On April 29, 2010, they delivered 23 Xboxes and related items, enough for every patient room on the unit
