Filmed by curator Dr Éimear O'Connor, 'Mining the Image' features artist printmaker Margaret Irwin West working through the process of etching in her studio in Claddaghduff, Connemara. The film was made for the occasion of 'Mining the Image', a retrospective exhibition of Irwin West's paintings and etchings, curated by Dr Éimear O'Connor HRHA, for The Leinster Gallery, South Frederick Street, Dublin 2, 13-25 April, 2015.
