Thanks to Goran Krmac (Mar 1.2013) for finding error: Harmonic correction in measure 2, 3rd beat: the LH chord played on the video is an A triad, 2nd inversion (E A C#). The correct chord is F7alt. (Eb A C#).
Written in 1924 for piano and jazz band, this one-movement masterpiece is probably Gershwin's most famous work. It was orchestrated by Ferde Grofe, and Gershwin wrote versions for solo piano and for two pianos.
