DJ Shadow travelled to Kenya in April with Oxfam to see how the money is spent. You can see his visit to YIKA (Youth Initiatives Kenya Association), one of Oxfam's partner organisations in the Babdogo Slum in Nairobi. He also gets inspired by the diversity and quality of the showcase of local talent when he visits a community centre in the area.
Then watch exclusive footage of an Oxjam set he performs in Kariobangi. And of course the film winds up with the necessary crate digging in a record shop. In Kenya, DJ Shadow finds both a wealth of musical rarities and a wealth of inspiration about how music can be used to help end poverty.
