Resilience Survive and Thrive™ is a tabletop card game that aims to teach its players lessons on balanced development and natural resiliency under the climate change lens. The game was developed by the BaR-C2 Project* in collaboration with Balangay Entertainment, with the goal of effectively engaging with the youth to introduce climate change concepts and extreme weather events such as storm surge, super typhoon, sea level rise and ocean acidification, as well as their possible effects to the society. The game mainly strives to establish necessary decision-making skills specifically in developmental planning to achieve safer, adaptive and disaster-resilient Filipino communities through balanced sustainable development. It was designed to let the players account for the level of development their communities attain from their shared resources under the threat of potential disasters that they will have to face.

*The BaR-C2 Project, a collaboration between the UP Marine Science Institute of the College of Science and the Communication Research Department of the UP College of Mass Communication, is Component C2 titled Communicating Science-based Information on DRRM and Biodiversity Interconnectivity, under the Biodiversity and Resilience R&D, Communication and Capability Building Program. The BaR Program is funded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), through Philippine Higher Education Research Network (PHERNet).
