I made this from a natural slab of red stone called Catlinite found in Minnesota.
It took me about 5 hours to make it using a hack saw, a drill, some files, and some sandpaper.
For many hundreds of years Native American Indians have made things from Catlinite including peace pipes, tomahawk heads, pipe tomahawk heads, and war club heads.
The stone is very cherished and only Native American tribe members are allowed to dig it up from the quarry to sell.
