"Non-violence is the most powerful weapon we have" - yeah you sit in your lines on the floor as the police tear gas you, you fucking morons. Revolution is impossible without violence. You either smash the system or you are part of it.

Since when is destroying corporate property considered "violence"? Was the Boston Tea Party violent in that case?

I love how everyone is like oh "The Black Bloc" this.  No, shut up. Black Bloc isn't some organization, it's a tactic. it can be peaceful, or violent.

Occupy is going to need to start accepting the fact that there are those among them who do not wish for peace. They destroy themselves with their pacifistic bullshit. Good luck yelling on the sidewalks all day and hitting drums. I'm not an anarchist but the guys in black know how to rattle the status quo a lot more than the cowards trying to stop them. If the whole crowd did that, the city would belong to them in an hour.

Anarchists helped start Occupy. David Graeber (an anarchist professor) was the one who authored the slogan "We are the 99%". If it OWS wasn't co-opted by the middle-class liberal establishment, then we could have gotten more done, not being bound to a political party or corporation, but to the people. But many people in the US would side with the oppressor rather than face conflict.

What did all that accomplish?
