Muslims are acting as gatekeepers for the Jewish identity. They see the Jews spoken about in the Holy Islamic books yet they do not consider that the Jews of today are not the same as the Jews written about in the Koran. The Jews are neither blood related nor thought related to those ancient Jews.
I could say the same of Christians except most Western people no longer identify with the faith.
