Grey Gull master 411-1A, rec. New York, May 1930. Four unknown singers with pseudonymous studio band. A group absolutely nothing is known about except that there is no connection to the "other" Jesters that were still active in the 1940s. This might, in fact, also be a pseudonym. I suspect that the orchestra is actually led by Mike Mosiello and features the usual Grey Gull suspects such as Andy Sannella and Frank Banta. If you have details to share, any comment will be appreciated. This is the first and only mint copy of a Grey Gull product I ever stumbled across, and it is quite incredible what a cheap sound this has for a 1930 recording. I guess they recorded over a telephone line.
