Israel's Declaration of Independence represents Israel's commitment to democratic values of political and social equality. However, the practical application of these principles is an enduring challenge for Israeli society - the challenge of coexistence as Israelis. How can we shape an Israeli tomorrow in which Jewish and Arab citizens live together in cooperation and mutual respect?
