http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com If you've ever wondered how celebrities manage the paparazzi and constant hubbub surrounding them, pick a destination that is off the beaten path. ex-Marine (husband, Steve) and I were inundated by locals snapping pictures with us with their mobile phones. Taking videos. Whipping out digital cameras. Asking us to pose. Whatever they could to record this "star-studded" moment. (Thankfully, I was having a decent hair day!)
I did my share by singing "Head, shoulders, knees and toes" with a group of school children on a day trip. And then they serenaded us with a prayer in Gujarati. At least I think it was Gujarati. It wasn't until Niru physically tore us out of the photographic frenzy that we could get away!
Exciting at the moment but don't think I'd like to cope with this on a daily basis.
