Leslie West- The Leslie West Band (1976)
This is Leslie´s second solo-album after the final split of Mountain. A wonderful mixtgure between new songs and coverversions of classic hits from bands like The Beatles or The Animals. Leslie´s own composition were another highlight in his long carreer, because he find exactly the right way to mix hard and heavy riffs with sololicks that are elegant and very melodic. This is his special way of playing guitar and this made him so great !
Please notice, that Mick Jones (ex-Spooky Tooth, pre-Foreigner) was the other guitar player and if you listen very carefull, who woll hear some ideas, you will found a year later on the debut album of Foreigner !
