Bordeaux's Miroir D'Eau seen in late September 2009. This is a fine feature opposite the Bourse building by the side of the river. Water fills a huge area to a depth of a few cm. This then drains away to form a wet mirror plate which reflects the building perfectly. Then 'steam' - condensate of some kind - is injected through holes ont to the mirror and it builds to a cloud. People walk, play and have their pictures taken on the surface. Delightful and so very French! The clip also features a view of the Garonne in full flood at night from the parapet and a walk across the Pont-de-Pierre Bridge
