The special clip of the movie “Sekigahara” starring Junichi Okada, member of the popular boygroup V6 was released on July 26th.

The movie is directed byMasato Harada and is expected to be released on August 26th.

This special clip includes: The introduction about character Tokugawa Ieyasu (Koji Yakusho) and the explanation about the battle Sekigahara.

“Sekigahara” is adapted from the historical novel by writer Ryotaro Shiba.

The movie sets in the biggest civil war in the history, the battle Sekigahara happened on October 21st, 1600 (September 15th, the 5th year of the Keichou Period).

The special clip portrays the image of Ishida Mitsunari (Okada) who arose thanks to the loyal with Toyotomi Family and the image of Tokugawa Ieyasu (Yakusho) who had the ambition of governing the country.

The movie is about the event that Mitsunari concealed that he was “sealed”, which was also the reason why despite being assessed to have the overwhelming dominance, he was completely defeated by Ieyasu, etc. In addition, the movie also recreates the silent love between him and the female spy Hatsume, who bet her life to rescue Mitsunari.
