Big Spender Sequence from Sweet Charity/ This is one of my favorite dance sequences from one of the greatest choreographers of all time, Bob Fosse.

Such a fantastic number. The choreography is just genius, showing how tired and fed up they are, yet they still have to bend over backwards and pretend to be having fun to attract a customer. All while their faces show their true feelings. Great cinematography too, I like how the customer guy is in the foreground and is so nonchalant and barely even notices the girls, contrasting how hard they are working to get his attention in the background.

Just me here because it's a great song and not because of youtubers or cover versions? Yes... Ok then

Hey, Mister, can I talk to you for a minute? Got a cigarette for me, Mister? Huh? Hey, Mister, do you speak Spanish? Hey, Tiger, you wanna dance? A little dance won't hurt you. C'mere, Cowboy, I wanna tell ya something. Little secret between you and me. Moshi moshi ikare-desu ka, Baby. Ooh, you're so tall. Let's have some fun.

I like the way the all show no emotion whatsoever. Really stretches across the uncanny valley between entertainment and discomfort

This has so many layers of complex feelings, and emotions, fantastic singing, with Chita Rivera, dramatic deadbeat down, but not out ladies of the night acting! The test of time is the choreography, by the one and only Bob Fosse. I love all of this, what craftmenship , what an unforgettable song, all rolled into one.
