Deterrence - The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Air Wing

In collaboration with the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), thanks to the pioneering efforts of The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust's Aerial Surveillance Unit, poaching in Tsavo National Park, a stronghold for elephants in Kenya, has fallen by 50%.

Watch this extraordinary partnership and their common mission to put poachers out of business. More than just boots on the ground and eyes in the sky, the coordinated operations of our expanded Air Wing are now able to convince a would-be poacher that the risks of entering the park are no longer worth the reward.
