Need a stretchy bind off that is easier? We will cast off with the loose slip knot cast off method together! This method makes a less tight bind off and matches the beginning side of a panel better. Happy Looming!

Happy Crafting!!

I like all your videos but with this one I had a lot of trouble following you because of the fluffy material used. It made it hard to see exactly what you were doing. I'm new to looming so maybe that's why I need something clearer. Anyways thanks for all the videos. They have overall been very helpful.

It'd be nice if this was shown using a yarn less bulky.

interesting bind-off very very loose.  but DO NOT like that yarn.  it is impossible to REALLY see what is going on.
I for one am glad you used a thicker yarn. The blanket I am working on is made with Bulky yarn and has little colored bits added into the yarn. For me it was easier to understand watching the bind off with a thicker yarn. Thanks, Angela =)

oh my gosh! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!  I was getting frustrated with the cast off on my blankets being so much tighter than the cast on side and with this tutorial it now looks SO much better!  I am a visual learner, I appreciate you taking the time to post this it helped me a great deal!

Bad choice of yarn. I can't even see what the bind off looks like.

How cool. I just found the originator of this bind off, aplaceformycards. She shows it with regular worsted yarn. Blessings.

I must say thank you for this technique. I just completed a KB Super Afghan loom 6x10 twin blanket and I needed a bind off that would not ruin my work and give the correct stretch. I agree with the comments that requested this technique be shown with regular worsted yarn. It does give a different look even following your tutorial to the letter. Fortunately, it caused me no problem because the blanket will have a fabric backing and edging. Thank you. Out of the many tutorials I reviewed, yours was by far the best for my project.

this is basically the same bind off you use on the dew drop shawl right?
