Church members from the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew, Church of the Village, and Christ Church United Methodist churches talk about how the local congregations comforted neighbors, stocked food pantries, and offered counseling. Martha Chapman states, “People’s need for care and community was exposed, and a place that we could find it was inside the doors of the church. This is where they came home.”
