#flipthestream or die trying:

"Everyone is Liddy Lemonade over this IPO but if we back up the camera and look at some business fundamentals it's a $10 a month subscription $7 of which off the top go to rights owners so this isn't lipitor, I mean come 2050 when 9 and a 1/2 billion people are on this planet and the population caps and every human chip and bonobo in the congo is listening to DJ B. Narnish then we've got a shot, then this (spotify) is a contender. If that's what you want to bet on tomorrow, then that's your call, but let's focus on the fundamentals: Bounce, pass Jump Shot, pick-and-roll, you know, that type of stuff. -- If Whole Foods came out with a $10 a month subscription to food it would be a popular product as well to quote Steve Jordan. So Everyone's betting on an interesting model of bizarre consumption that looks more like radio than an on demand product. So, the whole thing is jacked."
-Jack Stratton, VulfPeck

I personally love what Jack Stratton (http://www.vulfpeck.com) says about a monthly subscription to whole foods and going in there and buying any grocery you want. It's kind of the same idea for Spotify music, something that has taken hours of investment may or may not get chosen to be listened to but it can stay in this field where infinite playlists reside that may or may not feature your song. It all depends on who is following to show minimal support by just clicking on a song and listening.

In honor of my aging bones, streaming platforms, and Daniel Ottney who recently passed away February 26th, 2015.

Try the Spotify Challenge of Listening to the song 200 times: = 8.61 hours.

This video took 2 years to make. It is a video signifying how fast time passes here on earth and how unaware we are of how we as a human species are treating our bodies. 200 listens on streaming currently gets an independent artist $1 on Spotify and about $0.35 per 200 listens with monetization with YouTube.

I believe that only the artist that created the original work will truly listen to a song 200 times.
It is a lifetime of listens for the listener.

In honor of inspiring friendships that have left the world with many songs still left to sing: for Aaron Fenton, Eric Moss, Daniel Houser and Daniel Ottney who recently passed during the production of this video.

There are days where you don’t feel like coming home
There are ways that you make yourself feel so alone

There are days where you feel like you’re a bag of bones
Feeling so alone, when you’re not alone

do do do do do do do do do do do do do do X13
do do do do do do X5

You find yourself inside your self indulgence
You don’t know how to live in your bag of bones
You keep asking the same questions saying ‘what’s the answer?’
But there is no answer without an invitation

do do do do do do do do do do do do do do X13
do do do do do do X5

Somedays, you feel so alone, you feel so alone
Somedays, no you’re not alone, know you’re not alone.
