I am simply demonstrating an issue occurring on the early 2011 MacBook Pro with Yosemite 10.10.2. Audio functionality is crippled in this release. To exacerbate the problem, run FaceTime and attempt to either answer or make a video call.

A restart of the computer does not immediately fix the issue; however, a PRAM reset will fix the problem temporarily.

No audio issues are present in Windows 8.1 via Boot Camp.
