Orthopedic Surgeon, Uma Srikumaran, M.D., describes the symptoms of shoulder arthritis and the surgical and non-surgical treatment options.

Dr. Srikumaran recently returned to Johns Hopkins from Harvard, where he completed a fellowship in shoulder/elbow surgery. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Johns Hopkins. He treats patients with rotator cuff disease, shoulder pain, injuries, instability or dislocations, fractures, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis or bicep pain. He also sees patients with sports injuries, including tendonitis and ligament injuries. He has privileges at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, Maryland.
