Windows is launching The Windows Phone 7 with a high impact campaign. In a category that is saturated and highly competitive the dominance strategy paired with bold and playful creative executions will put the Windows Phone 7 top-of-mind with consumers and ensure it is perceived an object of desire.

5 Astral Out-of-Home Street Columns in Montreal boast a 3D replica of the phone, with an additional 5 Street Columns designed with special magnetic ad faces. Magnets in the shape of tiles showing off the new features and applications have been placed sporadically across the column faces for passersby to pull off and take home. URLs printed on the back drive consumers to the site and TELUS retailers to purchase the new product.

The multiple touch-point campaign will engage and excite all ages through Montreal MegaColumns and Artistic Murals, as well as, tailored television ads, working together to build interest and anticipation for the Windows Phone 7. Over the life of the campaign, 4000 magnets will have been collected by the public.
