Chennai/New Delhi/Bangalore, Mar 18 (TruthDive) : Tamil Nadu rages with anti-Sri Lanka protests stepped by student communities across the State on a massive scale.

More college students and even school students are reported to come on to the streets for embarking on anti-Sri Lanka demonstrations.

IIT Madras students were the last to join the hunger strike in support of Sri Lankan Tamils launched by students across various districts of Tamil Nadu.

Students of Loyola College and Nandanam Arts College in Chennai continued their fight on Sunday by holding meetings and campaigns. 14 law college students were taken into custody yesterday by the police when they were protesting at the Marina Beach in the city.

The hunger strike undertaken by the students of IIT Madras is reported to be taken to other IIT campuses across the country.

Engineering and medical colleges are also said to be a part of the fiery anti-Sri Lanka movement raging the state of Tamil Nadu. This huge fiery protest staged by the students is claimed to be the biggest anti-Sri Lanka stir launched by the student community of Tamil Nadu.

Reports coming in from Bangalore say that the Tamils working in Bangalore have also offered their support for the agitating student community in Tamil Nadu and they have appealed to the students of Tamil Nadu to keep up with the struggle.

Pro-Tamil outfits like May 17 Movement have also joined the fray in solidarity with the striking student community to fight for the cause of Eelam Tamils.
