Collective Progression brings you this interview with Tom Campbell of the Guacamole Fund.

This tax exempt, public charity "has been helping to coordinate events for organizations that work in the public interest, since 1973." Their focus on supporting grassroots action, with education, outreach, networking and funding, has proven to be a mechanism of crucial support for multiple peace and justice movements. They have raised money for groups working in the areas of the environment and wildlife, social change, peace with justice, sustainable energy, and anti-nuclear efforts.

Much of the Guacamole Fund's support comes from proceeds generated during concert fundraisers.

Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE) is a group of musicians that work with Guacamole Fund to raise money to fight nuclear energy. Some of the groups involved include: Bonnie Raitt, Crosby Stills and Nash, Jackson Browne. Their latest effort was a large benefit concert for Japan at the beginning of August. We heard it was a great event!
