The City of Burbank and Burbank Police Department want you to know the risks and inherent dangers associated with the use of electronic cigarettes. The use of electronic cigarettes, or vaping, is harmful to your health and is not a safe alternative to conventional cigarettes. The use of electronic cigarettes is heavily regulated and included in California’s Smoke Free laws.

To shed some light on the dangers of electronic cigarette use, especially among our youth, the City of Burbank and Burbank Police Department have prepared this Public Service Announcement. As part of a grant initiative, the Burbank Police Department is taking a proactive approach to regulating the sale of tobacco and electronic cigarettes to persons under age of 21 by conducting enforcement operations at undisclosed locations throughout the City of Burbank.
