This video was created to show California's legislators what a grievous mistake it would be to close South Yuba River State Park to obtain a small savings that would be gobbled up by the costs of closing the park and then re-opening it after damage from vandalism and vagrancy, plus liability and unavoidable closing and reopening costs. ...The state decided not to close the park in 2012 as threatened, but the park system is still under financial threat and we will probably have to defend the park again. Also, the video is a nice summary of park facilities and activities, so I decided to add music, improve text and narration integration, and re-post it as an improved version to broadcast general park information.
