How to make the KNL Dragon
by Robert J. Lang
From the book Origami Design Secrets
Presented here by Jo Nakashima with permission of the creator

18cm x 18cm origami paper
(the red one is 15cm x 15cm tissue foil)

If you start with the white side up you'll get a model with colored head and wings

KNL stand for Kasahara-Neale-Lang
Robert Lang designed this dragon based on another dragon composed by two units: a head from a dragon by Kunihiko Kasahara; and the body of the dragon, by Robert Neale.
Robert Lang combined both into a single sheet using the grafting technique (described in his book) and also improved the wings
