Beau Hossler led the U.S. Open when he birdied his 10th hole of round 2. The 17 year old from Mission Viejo got to 2 under par, and eventually finished tied for 9th at plus 3. His remarkable poise and control of his game was sensational, and being in the spotlight does not seem to phase him. He'll tee off Saturday at 2:05. The final group finds Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk paired as they share the halfway lead at one under par, 4 shots ahead of the kid with braces and intentions to play his college golf at Texas. David Toms was the only other player to be under par midway through the National Championship, and goes off the group prior to his fellow co-leaders Woods and Furyk. The other teenager in the field wearing braces, Andy Zhang at age 14 missed the cut, as did Dustin Johnson and the World's top two players...Luke Donald and Rory McIlroy.
