If it seems like Hollywood movies are all the same, there's a good reason for that--these days they're almost all written around the same template, a 2005 book on screenwriting called SAVE THE CAT. I discovered SAVE THE CAT when I went to buy STORY, the genius book by screenwriting guru Robert McKee--which I recommend for every writer in any medium.
