H-Town veteran Z-Ro is on the verge of releasing his brand new album, you guessed it, on July 15, and to ensure we didn't forget the date he stopped by Audiomack Studios to Bless The Booth for our ongoing, Tunecore-presented freestyle series.

Z-Ro - or rather, Rother Vandross - has been a Texas mainstay for years as a member of the Screwed Up Click and one of the region's most respected voices. As you'll hear over the sauced-up backdrop of resident producer T-GUT, that voice just so happens to be smoother than a gallon of lean.

Ro also touches on the ongoing tension between he and Trae Tha Truth, his cousin and former Guerilla MAAB group member.

For more from Z-Ro, be sure to stream or digitally purchase Drankin & Drivin when it drops on Friday. Also, make sure to check out our last Bless The Booth effort from Spanish Harlem's own Bodega Bamz, and keep it locked (and subscribe to our YouTube channel) for more audio and visual dopeness.

Videos focused on underground and independent hip-hop so you know tomorrow's biggest hip-hop stars before they blow, plus coverage of the best and most noteworthy mainstream artists. From dope songs to classic albums, must-hear mixtapes to buzzing rappers, DJBoothTV is the authority in hip-hop.
