The event featured pure classical music both vocal and instrumental along with Persian and Mexican poetry as well as verses from Tagore, Ghalib, Taqi Mir are set seamlessly to the melodies of Indian classical music to transcend the audience into the universe of dream and illusion.
One of the leading Indian classical vocalists Chandra Chakraborty was accompanied by the internationally acclaimed tabla player Sanju Sahai, renowned sitarist Baluji Shrivastav and eminent violinist Kamalbir Nandra along with their solo performances. Chandra Chakraborty also took the lead to radiate the emotion of pain and anguish through her divine voice, while she was accompanied by a group of impassioned reciters including Marrianne Zeck (Mexican and Persian translation), Najma Usman (Ghalib), Leesa Gazi (Tagore), Basir Afridi (Taqi Mir)
